Dwarf Fortress MUD

Welcome!

Dwarf Fortress is a fantasy world simulation in which you lead a small band of dwarves as they attempt to start a new fortress somewhere. If you haven't played it, I suggest you do.

Now, the DF MUD is an attempt to take the ideas from that game and transplant them into a text-based, multiplayer online game. The term MUD means "Multi-User Dungeon" or "Multi-User Domain," and they are the earliest form of multiplayer online games. For more info I suggest Wikipedia. We are using the Dead Souls 2.9 LPMUD codebase.

The game is currently under development but can be accessed by telneting to:

ADDRESS: divineright.org
PORT: 1050

Note that all you will see there are the sample Dead Souls areas, as the areas we are actually coding are currently very uninteresting.

Current staff includes:

NOTE: If you want to create a new page describing a system, go to creatordocs and use the new page bar there. I took out the default one because someone was using it. For the record, pages should be created with the format of category:title. That module does that automatically, so use it.
